Second only after talking about Save the Whales was Save the Spotted Owl. People on both sides of the debate have used the spotted owl to argue about what is wrong with development or what is wrong with the environmental movement. I know we have to balance both. However, when I look at this picture, I think how could you not want to save it!

I would never have thought to take a picture this close and of just the mouth and nose. A great shot that shows what’s possible when you think outside the box — or typical frame.

Shaggy Dog
I thought I would share this picture I took because it’s the first dog or cat shot that I have taken where I was actually happy with the result, and who doesn’t like (someone else’s) shaggy dog. ;-)
